George Wasson Smith's Obituary
George Wasson Smith, 56 years old, born on September 16, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the parents of Harvey and Virginia (Wasson) Smith. He was an only child. He passed from this life on June 13, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. George attended East Central High School, University of Tulsa and University of Tulsa Law School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a Juris Doctorate in law. He began his career as an attorney in Muskogee and then, in Coweta. Graduating from the University of Tulsa was one of George’s most important events. The most important events were the birth of his two sons. Someone described George as compassionate, intelligent, fun and a conversationalist. George like to listen to Rush Limbaugh and and to the local Mexican restaurant, and listening to rock and roll, especially the classical rock. George is survived by his two sons, Tony Smith of Coweta, Oklahoma and Eric Smith of Stillwater, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, at 12:30 pm at our Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
