George Albert "Speck" Morgan's Obituary
George Albert “Speck” Morgan was born February 15, 1925 in Morewood, OK, and died November 30, 2005. Al was one of twelve children born to William and Maude Morgan. Al graduated from Pauls Valley High School and subsequently joined the Marines where he served honorably during the Korean War and World War II. He was a survivor of The Choson Reservoir Battle. After returning from the service Al opened The Ambassador Shoe and Luggage Repair Shop which he operated in Brookside for over thirty years. Al was much loved and will be remembered as a wonderful friend, husband, father, and grandfather. He always had a smile on his face and a big heart. Service will be Saturday, December 3, 12:30 PM, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.Survived By: his loving wife, Wanda Morgan of Broken Arrow, OK and four children: son, Travis and wife Christa, Eddie Frizley; daughters, Linda Frazier and husband, Joe, DyAnn Storz and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Blake Morgan, Jay Stamper, Trae Storz, Joshua Storz and wife Jentry, Emily Storz, Ben Storz and wife Jamie, Joseph Frazier and Hunter Frazier; five great grandchildren: Peyton, Dayton, Pyerston, Addison and Lana Storz; siblings, three sisters, Evelyn Gentry and husband Bill of Oklahoma City, Shirley Waits and husband Bill of Surprise, AZ, and Edith Flowers and husband Bill of Albuquerque, NM, and one brother, Robert Morgan and wife Pat, of Albuquerque, NM and many nieces and nephews.
