Georgia Borden's Obituary
Georgia Marie Borden, 93, of Glenpool, OK passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born on July 1, 1929 in Tulsa, OK. to John and Vinia Crow. Georgia was an avid crafter, and sold many of her crafts at craft fairs over the years. She new how to hunt down a bargain, and pretty much invented the meaning of, “shop til you drop”. She loved to cook, and once when she had roofers working on her roof, she baked them some fresh gingerbread and took it out to them. She was always wanting to feed everyone, and you never left her home hungry. She is preceded in death by her parents, John L Crow and Vinia Crow, three brothers, JL Crow, Berness Crow, and Vernon (Shorty) Crow, two sisters, Dorothy Jordan and Lola Arce. and grandson Brandon Scott Borden. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Guy F, (aka Scott) Borden, Daughter Linda Smith, and son’s Roger Canada and Kevin Borden, as well as five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 3pm at Floral Haven in Tulsa, OK. Flowers can be sent to Floral Haven in Tulsa, OK.
