Georgia Lee Guagliardo's Obituary
Georgia Lee Guagliardo (Featherston) was born in 1929 and returned to Heaven on February 5, 2020 after a struggle with cancer. Her husband of 71 years, NV Guagliardo, was by her side.
Graduating from Tulsa Central High School in 1948 she married that same year. After raising four children, she decided to go to college and learn math, a subject that she had found difficult before, but at which she excelled. She worked as a precinct election official in her early years. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she was involved as a volunteer for fundraising, involved in various Parent-Teacher Associations for her children's schools. She was an avid square-dancer with her husband, an artist and a leader for the Camp Fire Girls. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and many other crafts, it was a talent she passed on to others.
Georgia is preceded in death by her second daughter, Susan Morris. She is survived by her husband NV Guagliardo, eldest daughter, Victoria Guagliardo, son, Nick Guagliardo Jr., her youngest daughter Ann Shelby, sister, Connie Wong, and her husband Steve, granddaughter, Margaret Clark; grandson, Samuel Morris and son-in-laws, Jeff Shelby, Dennis Morris and Gary Clark.
Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Family request to not send flowers at this time.
