Georgia Meeks' Obituary
Georgia Meeks, 78, of Broken Arrow, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Floral Haven Rose Chapel, with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Georgia was born on March 26, 1938, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Luther and Katie (Addington) Conner. She is survived by four children, Lowell Meeks and his wife Kathy of Davenport, Oklahoma, Rose Sonnenberg and her husband Chris of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Ronald Meeks of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Charlotte Rose Meeks-Johnson and her husband Tim of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother, Gilbert James Conner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Sharon Minton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lowell Meeks, Sr., two children, Peggy Lee Donahue and Terry Wayne Meeks, and sister, Zula Conner. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Georgia’s name to the charity of your choice.
