Geraine "Ann" Martin's Obituary
Geraine Ann Martin, known to all who loved her simply as Ann, passed away on November 8, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 70.
Ann was born on November 23, 1954, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Billy and Ruby Martin. She grew up with a strong spirit and a heart full of love for family, friends, and the simple joys of life.
Ann was known for her no-nonsense attitude and her famous phrase, “in a minute,” whenever someone asked her to do something—words that perfectly captured her independent spirit. She had a way of doing things on her own terms, and that’s what made her so special to everyone who knew her.
She found comfort and joy in life’s little pleasures—rocking gently in her favorite chair, collecting stickers, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and OU football, and watching WWE wrestling and NASCAR. Her passion for sports including bowling was matched only by her love for animals; Ann adored her cats and dogs, who were constant companions and sources of comfort through the years.
Ann will be remembered for her strength, her stubborn streak, and her big heart. She lived life her way, surrounded by the things she loved and the people who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents
She is survived by her sister Shelia Bevard and husband Rick, sister Kim Rider and husband Charlie, nieces Heather Bevard, Ashlynn Rider, nephews Dustin Martin and wife Samantha, Shelby Rider and wife Emarie, Austin Rider, (2) great nieces, (4) great nephews, along with numerous friends and loved ones.
