Gerald Wayne Arnold's Obituary
Gerald Wayne Arnold, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away April 19, 2018 at the age of 74.Gerald Wayne Arnold a beloved Daddy, Husband, and Papa, was born on January 30, 1944 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Samuel and Irene Arnold. He graduated from McLain High School in 1962. Wayne joined the Air Force in 1964 where he served in the Vietnam War. He then joined the Air Force Reserves until joining the Air Natural Guard. A proud veteran, Wayne gave 23 years of service to the United States military. While in the Air National Guard, Wayne worked for Hale-Halsall where he retired after 35 years. Wayne had a love for tinkering with race cars, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and younger sister, Vivian Debrosse. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sue Arnold of Broken Arrow; two children, Angie Row of Bixby and son, Ken Arnold and wife, Brandy of Bixby; five grandchildren, Carl Row, Lindsey Arnold, Colton Row, Riley Arnold and Makenzy Arnold, all of Bixby; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Braxton Folz of Bixby; two sisters, Marie Smith of Broken Arrow, Carol Sawyers and husband, Gary of Texas; brother-in-law, Ed DeBrosse of Tulsa; four nephews and nieces; two stepsons, David Noonkester and wife Debra of Arkansas and Barry Noonkester and wife, Donna of Virginia. We have all been blessed to have our hearts filled with love from such a great man, and will carry his precious memory in our hearts forever.Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow with Pastor Jason Hutsell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Veterans Field of Honor.Military will be conducted by the United States Air Force and the Patriot Guard Riders.
