Geraldine Etoyle Hinkle Geraldine Etoyle (Etoyle is French for “star”) Hinkle, known to all of her friends and family as “Gerry” or more affectionately as “Bubbles,” passed away Friday afternoon, May 27 at her home. Born on December 11, 1920, “Bubbles” was known for her unbridled passion for life, her incredible sense of humor, and her love for her beloved Dallas Cowboys….she even possessed her own Cowboy Cheerleader outfit which she wore each and every year prior to the beginning of the NFL season! Bubbles is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Ann Hinkle, New York City, her son Bill Hinkle, Tulsa, her daughter-in-law, Rosie of Tulsa, two grandchildren, Amber, Tulsa and Jeff, Kansas City, and two great grandchildren, Alexa and Alaina, both of Tulsa. Services will be held at Joy Lutheran Church, 9940 S. Yale, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1 with a lunch reception directly following. Donations may be made in her name to the Arthritis Foundation of America.
