Geraldine Ruth Hooper, age 97, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life Saturday, May 20, 2023, surrounded by her family. Geraldine was born January 12, 1926, to William and Delilah (Hicks) Teets, in Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
Geraldine married the love of her life, Kermit Hooper, May 15, 1946.
Geraldine will be dearly missed by her children: Peggy Green and husband James L. Green III, Judith Beach and husband Donald, William Hooper and wife Jeanine; grandchildren: Kristin Ames and husband Robert, Donald L. Beach Jr. and wife Monica, Brian Beach and wife Stephanie, Andrew Beach and wife Kate, David Pugh and wife Meagan, and Virginia Ruth Aris and husband Rico; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and a niece Pamela "Dolly" Simpkins and husband Henry.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Kermit Hooper; sister: Betty Merlye and brother: James Teets.
A memorial service will be held May 31, 2023, at Huntt Funeral Home, in Waldorf, Maryland.
