Geraldine "Jerry" Moseley's Obituary
Geraldine “Jerry” Moseley was reuntied in heaven with her loved ones on October 15, 2010. Born March 1, 1927 in Porum Oklahoma to Jess and Mary (Shoemake) Wilson, Jerry married Edmond L. Moseley December 5, 1944 and resided in the Tulsa area the remainder of the her life. During her husband’s service in the U.S. Army (45th Division, 279th Infantry) during World War ll and the Korean War, then later in the Oklahoma National Guard, Jerry was actively involved in the VFW. Preceding her in death: husband, Edmond L. Moseley; sister Jackie L. Largent; brother Charles Wilson and both parents. The Moseley family’s lineage continues with her surviving son Edmond “Ron” Moseley and wife, nephews/nieces as well as several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the faculty and staff of the Oklahoma Methodist Manor for their exceptional loving care they provided for Jerry during her stay. In addition they wish to express their gratitude to Family Care Hospice for their support during a difficult time. Visitation will be Thursday 12 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home with a Celebration of her Life service 3 p.m. Friday October 22, 2010 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with private interment to follow in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
