Geraldine "Jerry" Summers' Obituary
Geraldine “Jerry” Summers was born February 20, 1936 in Yonkers, Oklahoma and passed away March 1, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jerry married the love of her life Charles Summers almost 60 years ago in April. Jerry loved square dancing and she and Charles spent the majority of their free time dancing and having fun. Jerry loved traveling and going on cruises; she and Charles spent a year in Europe. The most important thing to Jerry was her family. She loved spending time with them, cooking and having a good time visiting with them. Jerry is survived by her husband Charles Summers; son Mike Summers and his wife Brenda; son Neal Summers and his wife Ruth; grandchildren Melissa Ann Hurst and her husband Daniel, Micah Summers and his wife Kacy, Daniel Summers and his wife Heather, Brianna Knudson, Andrew Knudson, Jocelyn Summers; great-grandchildren Clayton, Clint, Cassidy, Mckade, Chisum, Mary, Dannie and Chloe; brothers Bobby Copeland, Phillip Copeland and Cletus Copeland; sisters Carolyn Hughes, Zora Beede and Mary Willis and numerous other family members and friends. Jerry is preceded in passing by her parents Elbert and Lilly Copeland; two brothers, Richard and Roger Copeland, and her granddaughter Nicole Summers.
