Geraldine "Jerri" Vanderpool's Obituary
Geraldine “Jerri” Vanderpool, age 83, passed away on January 1, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jerri was born on October 8, 1932 in Welling, Oklahoma to her parents Leonard and Viola Swepston. She was the baby of 6 other siblings. Jerri married the love of her life, Delbert Vanderpool, on July 3, 1948 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She and her husband were members of Church On The Move. She was a loving, kind, giving wife, mother, grandmother who cherished her family and enjoyed the time she got to spend with them. She is survived by her spouse Delbert, her daughter Phyllis Lower, her son Gerald Vanderpool, her daughter Wanda Perkins-Harris, her granddaugther Tanya Shearrer, her grandson Bryan Lower, her granddaughter Shana Meyer, her grandson Eric Lower, her grandson Jason Vanderpool, her granddaughter Kristen McDowell, her grandson Chad Perkins, and numerous friends. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 from 12 pm to 8 pm with family to greet from 6 pm to 8 pm. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2015 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 3 pm.
