Geronda Ann Fuller-Platt, 92, of Dade City, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024. Born on October 7, 1932, in Alton, Missouri, to loving parents Noble and Coeta Beckham, Geronda lived a full and vibrant life, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
At 4' 11", Geronda was known for her spunky personality and tenacious spirit. She was an accomplished bowler, proudly winning numerous trophies throughout her life. In her career, she held a variety of roles, from working in insurance to serving as a secretary and clerk for the federal government, always with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail.
Geronda was also a devoted mother and an excellent cook, bringing warmth and love to her family in every meal she prepared. Her affection for her cats was well known and often playfully rivaled her love for her husband, Mike. In addition to her many talents, she was an expert in needlework, earning multiple awards from the North Carolina State Fair for her intricate creations.
Her life’s journey took her to many places, including Tulsa, Oklahoma; Ventura, California; Asheville, North Carolina; and Dade City, Florida, where she built lasting friendships and cherished memories.
She will be remembered for her wit, strength, and love of life, and her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
