Amber Clemons
I have always had a special love for Aunt Trudy (and Uncle Jim). It didn't matter how old I became, I loved spending time with Aunt Trudy. She was always so kind and interested in my life and the lives of my children. I remember visiting places around Oklahoma with her such as Chief Wolf Robe's store where my mom commissioned a ring that I still have as well as the Gilcrease museum. She was so spunky and such an interesting woman. I remember sitting in a river with her as she told me how she sometimes found arrow heads. She was a fantastic cook and to this day I have never had a better dill pickle than the ones she canned herself. And her paintings left me in awe. I also remember she and my mother making some bead necklaces that were very intricate and looked really hard! She is a wonderful part of the quilt of my life and I am thankful she has been a part of it. God Bless you Aunt Trudy. I will see you again someday. To my family in Oklahome, I love you so much and I am sorry for the sorrow you feel at losing your wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother.Love always, Amber
