Gina Renee Meyer's Obituary
Gina Renee Meyer, a resident of Skiatook, passed away April 25, 2020 at the age of 61. She was born May 28, 1958 to Ira and Ercell (Austin) Amstutz in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gina loved all animals and gave freely of her time and money to rescue and foster organizations in the area. She lived for her dog pack. She loved everyone she met and found great joy in helping others. She loved the Lord and spent many hours reading her bible. Gina spent every waking hour thinking about her family and loved shopping for her grandchildren. She was fiercely proud of her family. She loved science and nature and was especially fond of storms, rocks, minerals, fossils and loved astronomy. She inspired many people when she achieved her Doctorate of Pharmacy at 48. She was proud to serve her community as a pharmacist and everyone she touched loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ercell Amstutz Davis; father, Ira Amstutz; step-father, Bob Davis; brother Monty Amstutz; sister, Christy Amstutz; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Betty Meyer; beloved fur babies, Oscar, Otis, Molly and Sherman.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Scott Meyer; daughter, Aubrey Kerr and husband, Nathan; daughter, Asheley Page and husband, Michael; son, Jacob Meyer; grandchildren, Aiden, Neil, Amelia and Nora Page, Isabella Kerr; sisters, Tyra Galyean and husband, Pete, Judy Hughes and husband, Condon, Shelley Wesley and husband, Robert; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Suzie Meyer; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; beloved fur babies, Jenny, Skeeter, Golda, Lucy and Duelly Blue.
Private Family Services will be held but we will still provide webcasting as you see below and a Public Service will be held at later date.
