Giselle Annette Whittaker's Obituary
Giselle Annette Williams Whittaker began her life on January 6, 1972 in Burlington, IA and joined her heavenly family on April 21, 2016. She leaves her parents, Gregory and Margaret Williams of Broken Arrow, OK; her sister Lisa Williams; her nephew, Andre Matthew Williams both of Colorado Springs, CO and many other relatives and friends nationally and internationally.Giselle grew up and attended schools in Framingham, MA and Broken Arrow, OK. She enjoyed participating in track, playing tennis and entertaining her little sister. She graduated from Broken Arrow Senior High School with a high school diploma, Northeastern State University with a B.S. in German and the University of Phoenix with a master’s degree. After NSU, Giselle accepted an internship with Hilti Inc. and attended the Carl Duisberg Language Center in Cologne, Germany. She worked and lived in Liechtenstein for over a year. Giselle’s most current position was as an Associate/Lead Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was employed over 10 years and obtained a surplus of promotions.Giselle accepted Jesus into her heart at a young age. Having a heart to serve and be a blessing to others, she was active in various capacities of the churches she attended, especially in the area of music. In Broken Arrow, she was a member of Rhema Bible Church and played in the church orchestra. She was a part of the praise and worship team at Rock Family Church in Colorado Springs, CO and was often seen and heard worshipping at home with her guitar in hand.As her family, we can attest to her kindhearted nature always seeking peace and ensuring everyone’s needs were met. It was a tangible kindness that blessed all around her. To know Giselle was to love her. We have been touched by the outpouring of love through messages of heartfelt pain and sorrow from family and friends upon learning of Giselle’s passing. She was truly a blessing and deeply loved, and we thank God for the time we had with her.Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Monday, May 2nd, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with committal service to follow.
