Glen Dale Gregston's Obituary
Glen “Dale” Gregston, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was born in Hastings, Oklahoma on December 9, 1925, and passed away on June 26, 2022. After graduating high school and completing a year of college, Dale joined the US Navy and was on the USS Gregory, a destroyer, as a Sonarman during World War II in the Pacific theater.
After his service, he returned home and began working for Stanolind Oil and Gas Company. Dale married Patricia Ginn in 1950 and after living in Texas and Louisiana, they settled in Tulsa in 1967 with their 3 children. After 36 years with Amoco, Dale took early retirement and enjoyed traveling with Pat and spending time with family. Dale was involved in the Joy Class at Asbury United Methodist Church.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Maudie Gregston; Pat, his wife of 62 years; his two sisters, Othella Warner, and Jean Hughes; and his two brothers, Floyd “Junior” Gregston, and Truman Gregston. He is survived by his children, Bruce Gregston of Prosper, Texas, Mark Gregston of Hallsville, Texas, and Lisa Borger of Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
