Glenda Lee Morgan's Obituary
Glenda Lee Morgan, age 83, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday, September 24, 2023, in Tulsa. Glenda was born June 18, 1940, to Walter and Nora (Foster) Kuykendall in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Glenda graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1958. She attended Mingo Baptist Church where she met John Elmer Morgan Jr in the 7th grade. They married on June 3, 1957 in Claremore at Rogers County Courthouse and celebrated 66 years of marriage together. Glenda welcomed her first child in 1958. She had 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Glenda worked for Process Equipment Company and retired in 1999. Glenda Lee Morgan was well known in the Morgan household for her coconut cream pie and chocolate sheet cake. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Nora Kuykendall; grandson: John Morgan IV; great-granddaughter: Kaylee Morgan; sisters: Villa Jean Crouch and Barbara Jean Kuykendall; and brother: Bill Kuykendall. She is survived by her beloved husband John Elmer Morgan Jr as well as her son: John Morgan III and wife Brenda; daughters: Jacquelyn Leann Morgan, Loraine Kay Morgan, and Kimberly Jean Johnson; grandchildren: Jason Lee Morgan, Christopher Michael Morgan and wife Crystal, Joseph Lee McCarty and wife Adrianne, Sarah Ellen Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Doneta Jo Dillard and husband Arron, Cody Wayne Bunch, Zachary John Bunch, and Michael Scott Johnson; great-grandchildren: Justin Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Cheyenne Jackson, Kyle Morgan, Chloe McCarty, Bain McCarty, Jettelyn McCarty, Brianna Morgan, Jim Rilley Dillard, and Josilynn Dillard; and great-great-grandchildren: Oliver Jackson, Ezekiel Ott and Daxton Ott.
Visitation will be held 3:00 PM ~ 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 01, 2023 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, October 02, 2023 at Floral Haven's Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
We love and miss Glenda greatly, but we all take comfort in knowing that she has found everlasting peace with the Lord.
