Glenda Gale Pyles, 64, of Broken Arrow, died Sunday, August 25, 2013. She was born on September 5, 1948 in Vinita, Oklahoma, the daughter of Kenneth and Gladys Barnes. She had worked as a supervisor for Murphy Industries (Magnetic Switches). She is survived by her husband, John Pyle, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, children, Allen Cook, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Shantel Guthrie, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Andrea Cook, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Diane Choate, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jay Pyles, and his wife Rhonda, of Claremore, Oklahoma, Barry Pyles, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Angela Hoffman, and her husband Doy, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Brendon Guthrie, Alysa Guthrie, Joshua Cook, Brady Choate, Katy Choate, Stephen Pyles, Mary Jo Pyles, Matthew Hoffman, Matthew Pyles, Willie Pyles and Chris Speer, one great-grandchild, brother, Harold Barnes, and his wife Judy, of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Barnes, and his wife Mary Ellen, of Owasso, Oklahoma, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial donations may be made in Glenda’s name to the American Cancer Society or the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
