Glenda S. Salyers' Obituary
Susie Wooldridge Salyers passed away March 1, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Susie was born in Antlers, Ok May 30, 1938 to Delcie Carter Wooldridge and Raymond Wooldridge. She lived most of her life in Tulsa where she attended Wilson Junior High and Central High School before moving to Nashville, where she graduated from Cohn High School.Susie had a long and rewarding career at Jenkins Music in downtown Tulsa and later at Shields Music. She was an avid reader and a regular at the Tulsa Public Library. In addition to reading, Susie enjoyed “oldies” music and movies and talking with friends and family on the phone, by letter, or in person. She will be lovingly remembered for the cards and letters she sent to her many friends and family at every holiday, big and small, and for her effusive use of tape on gifts! Susie loved holidays.Susie will be greatly missed by her sister, Ada DiSpaltro of Tacoma, WA, and her brother and sister, Bill Wooldridge and Pam Thomas, both of Pleasanton, CA, her nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.A Celebration of Life will be held later this year. Memorial donations may be made to the Tulsa Public Library
