Glendalyn Gay Wion's Obituary
Glendalyn Gay Wion (2/21/37 – 1/19/2024) daughter of Floyd and Coralee Blaine (Taloga, OK) passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wion (Tulsa), son Scott Allen Wion (Tulsa), sister Sue Ann Walls (Oklahoma City), and both of her parents. She is survived by her son Todd Wion and wife Suzanne (Houston, Tx), grandchildren Sean Wion and wife Jenarae (Houston, TX), Megan Mcguirk and husband Jon (Tulsa OK), great-grandchildren Claire Wion and William Mcguirk, niece Cheryl Ferguson and husband Keith (Newcastle, OK) and nephew Brad Wion and wife Debbie (Henryetta, OK).
Gay was born and raised in Taloga, OK. She received her BA from Oklahoma State University. She was a lifelong member of Alpha Chi Sorority. She worked in the banking industry for many years before retiring to run her own oil and gas business and volunteer in the local community. She was docent for Philbrook, a long-time member of First Christian Church and a resident of Zarrow Pointe.
The family would like to thank the Miller Hospice and Zarrow Pointe staff for all of the wonderful help and care given. If desired, friends can make memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
