Glenice Bohn Marsh's Obituary
Glenice Marcia Marsh Glenice M.( Bohn ) Marsh died of natural causes at the age of 97 on June 21, 2015, Tulsa, Oklahoma. After living in Anderson, Indiana for 70 years she moved to Tulsa where she lived at Burgundy Place, Independent Senior Living for the last 2 1/2 years. Glenice was the daughter of Rev. Carl and Pearl (Gilbert) Bohn born November 8, 1917 in Hewitt, Minnesota. She came to Anderson, Indiana with her sister, the late Coila (Bohn) Kleinhenn to attend Anderson Bible College. She met and married John H. Marsh October 25, 1941 in Lovington, Illinois. They were married for 60 years. They had three sons, Ron Marsh of Tulsa, Ok, Tim Marsh (deceased Sept 1999), Terry Marsh, Ft Wayne, In. Glenice was best known for her homemaking and hospitality skills. She was an excellent steamstress creating formal wear and alterations for many Anderson residents and Anderson College students. Glenice worked many years for Kleinhenn Greeting as bookkeeper. She was a member of South Meridian Church of God serving in many leadership positions.Survivors include sister Myrna (Bohn) Bastin, Gowrie, Ia.; sons: Ron (Peggy Harris) Marsh, Tulsa, Ok. and Terry Marsh (Lynn Oberly), Ft Wayne, In.; grandchildren: Bruce Marsh (Donna), Broken Arrow ,Ok.; Julie Marsh Henderson, Tulsa, Ok.; Randy (Kyla) Marsh, Gypsum, Co.; Eric Marsh, Shrevport, La.; Scott Martinez, Destin, Fl.; David (Jennifer), Bossier City, La.; Brian Martinez, Destin, Fl.; James Marsh, Fl. Glenice dearly loved her 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 3 pm located at Burgundy Place, 8887 S. Lewis, Tulsa, Ok.A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 3 pm located at South Meridian Church of God, 2402 S Meridian, Anderson, In. 46016Memorial contributions may be made to South Meridian Church of God Missions Board.
