Glenn Allen Conklin Sr.'s Obituary
Glenn Conklin, Sr., 58, of Oologah, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 in his home. A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m. Friday October 9, at Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow. Glenn was a larger than life kind of guy, who made the best of any situation. He was known for his big laugh, hard work ethic, and ‘tell it like it is’ way of living. Glenn was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. His passions in life included his family, huge love for any animals, especially the dogs he had throughout his adult life, fish-ing anywhere there was a body of water, and being the ‘Mr. Fix It’ of the family. Glenn worked with American Airlines for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Trish Conklin; his mother, Faye Conklin, of Tulsa; brother, Jeff Conklin, and his wife, Sherri Conklin, of Owasso; daughter, Stephanie Ross and husband, Andrew Ross; son, Glenn Conk-lin, Jr. and wife, Toni Conklin; stepson, Corky Martin, all of Claremore; stepdaughter, Tracy Emmons and husband, David Emmons, of Oologah; niece, Rachael Conklin and nephew, Brandon Conklin, of Tulsa; and 7 precious grandchildren. Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife of 27 years, Teresa Conklin; father, William Conklin; and grandson, Cutter Emmons.
