Glenn Wally Johnson's Obituary
Glenn Wally Johnson was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on November 15, 1952. Glenn went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2016. Glenn is survived by his parents, Wallace and Joan Johnson, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Bill Douglas of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Jimmie McMillan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and his sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Jeff Selvidge of Bixby, Oklahoma.Glenn was born into a loving family as the third child and only son of Wallace and Joan Johnson. He grew up loving every type of sport and excelled in football, golf and baseball. Glenn was an excellent fly-fisherman and loved fishing on the Rio Grande in Colorado. Glenn attended OSU and remained a loyal cowboy fan throughout his life. He worked many years at the Ford Glass Plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Glenn devoted his life to studying the bible and never missed an opportunity to share his faith with other. He was instrumental in building the First United Methodist Church bus ministry for nursing home residents in Claremore. The family would like to thank the First United Methodist Church of Claremore for their many years of kind and loving support and making it possible for Glenn to attend worship.Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 2nd, Floral Haven Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow, Ok.In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in Glenn W. Johnson’s name to First United Methodist Church, Claremore.
