Glenn Howard Shiveler's Obituary
Glenn Howard Shiveler, 57, of Tulsa, passed away on September 14th. Born in Camden, NJ, Glenn grew up on the family farm in Logan Township. He was a 1979 graduate of Kingsway Regional High School and a 1983 graduate of Rutgers University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Glenn moved to Tulsa in 1985, where he was employed at Nutter Engineering / Sulzer ChemTech for over 30 years, served as an officer in numerous professional organizations and authored a number of technical publications. Glenn traveled across the country and internationally for work and pleasure, and treasured vacations with his daughters. He enjoyed photography, reading history books, skiing, hiking and wandering museums.Glenn is survived by his daughters Samantha (fiancé Michael) and Vicky (fiancé Austin), mother Mary N. Shiveler, and sister Carol Ewald (husband Mike). He was predeceased by his father, Walter J. Shiveler. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Glenn’s name to the American Heart Association.
