Glenna Pearl Cornejo's Obituary
On Sunday, December 16th, 2018 Glenna Pearl Cornejo; loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away at he age of 84 in her home of 48 years in Glenpool, Oklahoma.She was also know as “Aunt Tiny” Glenna was born on February 12th, 1934 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Walter and Frankie Rose.Glenna was raised and attended school in Bartlesville. She married Albert John Cornejo on May 3rd, 1951. The couple relocated to Glenpool in 1970 where they raised their three girls and two boys in the same residency.Glenna was preceded in death by Her parents; Walter Rose and Frankie Horner, her loving husband; A. J. Cornejo, her son Ronnie Cornejo; three sisters; Jackie Wood, Patricia Lawson & Priscilla Blair.Glenna is survived by her daughters Annette Brown and husband John from Keota, Oklahoma; Daughter Cynthia Backus of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Daughter Christine Pulliam and husband Mark of Beggs, Oklahoma. One son Steven Cornejo, of Glenpool, Oklahoma as well as 9 grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.Glenna spent many hours visiting with friends and family, as her door was always open. Always there to lend a listening ear or word of wisdom when needed.Glenna had a passion for her kids, grand kids and her great grand kids. She always thought of others before thinking of herself. Glenna was known for her kind, loving and forgiving spirit. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.Services for Glenna Cornejo are:Visitation ; Wednesday, December 19th, from 5:00 – 7:00.Chapel service Thursday, December 20th at Floral Haven Chapel @ 12:30.
