Gloria Edith Isaza's Obituary
Gloria Gonzalez De Isaza, 83, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on August 21, 2020. Gloria was born to Alcibiades and Anna Casteblanco De Gonzalez in Bogotá, Colombia. At the age of 19 Gloria immigrated to Queens, New York with her then husband Tiberio to start their life together. Gloria worked hard in many jobs to provide for her three children and later found joy bringing comfort to young patients as a frontline childcare worker at Children’s Hospital and as a nanny. Gloria was deeply rooted in her faith and shared her love of The Lord with her family and friends.
Gloria is survived by her three children, Patricia Page and husband David, Ivan Isaza and wife Maria, Sandra Parke and husband Darrell, her brother Enrique Gonzalez, and her sister Clara Wray. Gloria was blessed by her grandchildren Christopher, Maegan, Alexander, Nicole, Matthew, and Rachel, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews which she deeply cherished. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, enthusiastic traveler, and true friend.
Gloria endured many adversities with optimism, hope, and bravery; living and loving life to the fullest. She was the light and strength of her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
