Gloria Marie Zappa Reiser's Obituary
Gloria has gone to be with our Lord Jesus on July 20, 2005. Our precious saint was born in Chicago on October 31, 1938, to Michael and Maria Zappa. She was the youngest of seven children, Clara, Frank, Albert, Joe, and her surviving sisters Anna and Dolores. She married Edward Reiser on January 4th, 1964, at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois, and soon became a loving mother to three children, Michael, Steven and Maria, and grandmother to four, Michael, Shelby, Aaron, and Rachel. Always selfless, always loving, she was a guiding light to all who knew her, and continues to be so in our hearts. The Peace and Joy of our Heavenly Father were her earthly gifts, and these she bestowed freely upon us. None would ever leave her home untouched by her warmth and grace. She gave without expectation, and loved all without reserve. With sorrow we mourn her absence, and yet with joy, we look forward to that blessed day when we will meet her once again in Paradise. WE LOVE YOU, MOM! Celebrate her life with us. Visitation is Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24, 2005, Floral Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, July 25, 2005, 10:00 A.M. in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Those who wish may honor her with a donation to The Little Lighthouse, c/o Marsha Mitchell, 5120 E 36th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74135.Survived By: loving and devoted husband: Edward Leo Reiser; children: Michael Charles Reiser, Steven Patrick Reiser and wife, Kenda Kay (Grisham), and Maria Lee (Reiser) Lynch and husband, Michel Cliston; grandchildren: Michael Sebastian Reiser, born February 5, 1988, son of Michael Charles Reiser, Shelby Kay Reiser, born April 17, 1997, daughter of Steven and Kenda Reiser, Aaron Michael and Rachel Marie Lynch, born July 1, 2002, children of Maria and Michel Lynch; and sisters, Anna Christine (Zappa) Mitchell and Dolores Michalene (Zappa) Adams.
