I will remember Glynda for her wit and happiness. She was always upbeat with innumerable amusing stories to tell usually related to golf. We played in tournaments and guest days together and in Intraclub against each other. She was always gracious and a joy to be around. In these last few years I would spend a few days with her at Grand Lake when we played in a WOGA tournament. She and her partner Becky Masoner and Judy Genzer and I would play two days of golf and party creating some of the best times ever. I will miss her very much but am truly thankful that she is at peace, no more pain nor worries with the God she loves. Rest in peace lovely lady, you have left us with treasure chest full of wonderful memories.

I knew Glynda from our golfing community for 20 plus years. She was a bright spot in my life. Her wit and pure honesty made her a special person. I know she is able to enjoy and play her best golf now. She has joined many other golfing friends and I can imagine them playing the best “Match Play” tournaments in heaven. The upcoming golf season won’t be the same without her. Though she is missed immensely already I am thankful she no longer is suffering. I know she was met at Heaven’s Gate and she will be there to greet us all one day. RIP and save me a spot in your foursome. Until we meet again - Love, Marsha Ann

Glynda is a longtime friend of mine. I met Glynda when she and her former husband, Gary Jones, moved to Tulsa from Kansas City and joined The Golf Club of Oklahoma in the 1990’s. Glynda was already an experienced golfer. Since I was fairly new to golf, I learned a lot from her. She always made it fun when playing with her. We always kept in touch over the years after she left The Golf Club of Oklahoma. She always loved playing in our Ladies’ Scissortail, an annual member/guest tournament! I will always cherish out fun times we had together! I will truly miss her.

Glynda was my friend, a best friend, and she was a light to anyone that really knew her. She was one of our golf foursome, The Phoenix Phillies, for more than a decade as we traveled to Scottsdale every October. She taught me many things about life that I will be forever grateful for and I will miss her here on earth. Her vibrance will be missed as we celebrate her presence with the Lord. I had a new female cardinal this morning in my group of birds and I am certain it was her dropping in to say hello.
