Gordon Wallace Bear, 91, Postmaster, passed from this life on February 16, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gordon was born on March 22, 1930, in Framingham, Massachusetts to James and Wilma (Awalt) Bear.
Gordon retired from the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologist.
He is survived by children, Diane (Bear) Wallis and William O. Bear; grandchildren, Jeremy Wallis, Jacob Wallis, Jessica Wallis, Omni Delano, Amber McAfee, and Shiloh Bear; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bear; daughter, Linda Louanne Bear; brothers, Derge Bear and Jim Awalt Bear; grandson, Luke McAfee
A memorial service gathering will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 5th, 2022, at Floral Haven Family Center.
