Grace "Lavahn" Bevard's Obituary
Grace Lavahn Bevard, 81, was born on September 25, 1938 in Arkansas and passed on January 9, 2020 in Oklahoma. Lavahn graduated high school in Branch, Arkansas. She moved on to attend and graduate from Business College in 1959 and became employed with Dial Finances in 1960.
Lavahn found joy in many things in life, especially if it involved helping others- from babysitting, to sewing special outfits for people, and singing alongside her sister at church services, funerals, and revivals.
She is preceded in death by her parents Woody and Golda Bennett; brothers Ralph, Lewis, Earl, and Harold Bennett; sister Joy McAbee; and granddaughter Faith Paige.
Lavahn is survived by her loving husband JC Bevard; son Michael and wife Tracy Bevard; Daughter Kathy and husband Larry Paige; grandchildren Trevor and Makenzie Paige; sister Phyllis and husband George with daughter Cindy Whitson; sisters-in-law Oleda and Sue Bennett; niece Nan and husband Mike Jones; stepdaughter Janet and husband David Osborn; stepdaughter Debbie and husband Bill Weir; 9 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5pm – 8 pm on Monday, January 13 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be at 2pm on Tuesday, January 14 at Lynn Lane Baptist – 1200 S Lynn Lane Rd, Tulsa, OK 74108
