Grady Hall's Obituary
Grady Hall, a loving husband, and father was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 23, 2022, in his home in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. Born October 3, 1956, to Flossie and Lafayette Hall in Dayton Ohio, his formative years were spent in Germany, Florida, Ohio, and Louisiana where he was baptized in the Baptist Church. Grady graduated from hayfield High School in Virginia in 1974, and in 1978 he graduated from Capital University with a degree in biology. He worked in the medical field while in college and post-graduation in the insurance industry where he spent 30 years in leadership and management roles. A good man with a big heart, Grady was cherished by family and liked by everyone he met. An avid sports enthusiasts and fan, some of his happiest times were spent watching football and basketball with colleagues, family, and close friends.
Grady is survived by his wife Shirley Howard Hall, and a daughter Theresa LaNette Hall of Broken Arrow Oklahoma, his mother Flossie Annette Scott of Newport News Virginia, brothers Lafayette Hall and William Scott Jr., sisters Carmen Smith (Herbert) and Lanet Hall, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extended family who loved him and whom he loved dearly. Grady was preceded in death by his father Lafayette Evans Hall Sr. of Lawton Oklahoma, and stepfather William Jack Scott of Newport News Virginia.
The visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
