Grant Creason's Obituary
Grant Creason, 67, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was taken by the angels on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at home with his family by his side. He recently retired from a 27-year career as an aircraft mechanic at American Airlines, a job that he loved. He was born November 24, 1952, in Tulsa to his parents, Ray Creason and Ruth Viola Woodward Creason. He married Carrol Lynn Smith on December 24, 1996, at Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa, and they shared more than 23 wonderful years together.
Grant is survived by his loving wife, Carrol; four children, Greg Creason and wife Stacy Sallman Creason of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Amber Creason of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Cassandra Smith of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Brian Smith and his wife Joanna Sammons Smith of Portage, Indiana; one brother, Gordon Creason of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Brandon Hughes of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Henry Smith, Ely Taylor, Owen Taylor, Augie Smith, Ruger Hughes, Rosco Hughes, and Rosie Smith, and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ruth Creason, and one brother, Gary Creason.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, August 3rd, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Roger Shepherd officiating. Burial will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
