Brandon,
I ran today with you on my mind. Lately, my mantra has been, every run has a purpose. Today's was to celebrate you. In every run, in every race, we learn how to listen and honor ourselves. We learn how to push when it feels right, to ease off and recover, to care for ourselves. We find joy in training alone, in groups, indoors, and outside. We find beauty in the new routes and the ones we run each week. We become the best athletes, the best coaches, the best version of ourselves, simply by listening to our intuition. And that intuition brings us to the finish line, triumphant and proud every time. You showed me how to be your own best advocate and your own best coach. A true athlete in the race of life (and there is our next Lifetime movie, ha). I'll miss so much about you, Brandon, but I hope that when I cross my own finish line - you're a part of the team there cheering me on. Thank you for being an incredible spirit. Rest well.
