Guy P Hendricks' Obituary
Hendricks-Guy P, 85, passed away Tuesday 13 March 2007 in Tulsa. Guy was born 26 March 1921 in Tulsa to John P and Margie Hendricks. Guy graduated Webster High School in 1939 and attended TU, Spartan, and RPI. He served in the 9th Army Air Corps during WWII where he met 2nd Lt. Dorothy Searles in Chickasha, Oklahoma, marrying her in Schaghticoke, NY on 21 April 1946. He worked as an engineer at GE’s Knolls Atomic Power Lab in Schenectady, NY and retired from Rockwell in Tulsa. Guy and his wife are charter members of Park Plaza Church of Christ, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Sue Miller. Ed Mosier officiated for the service at Park Plaza Church of Christ 2pm Friday 16 March, 2007. Burial followed at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to Park Plaza Church of Christ’s Food Bank, in which Guy served for many years.
