Hao Dinh Tran's Obituary
Joseph, Hao D. Tran, passed away on Sunday, November 29th, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma at the age of 86. A longtime resident of Tulsa, Hao passed peacefully surrounded by his large and loving family. Survived by his beloved wife, Be, and his children: Huong, Tan, Phuong, Minh, Hoang, Dieu, Van, Trang, and Hue; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; Predeceased by his loving son, Toan, on Dec. 4, 2011. Born on December 28th, 1928 in Nha Trang Viet Nam, Hao was the youngest of 8 children. His huge heart and love for his family was always evident as Hao grew into adulthood. He was educated at La Salle Seminary in Viet Nam, quite a prestigious accomplishment. Although a brilliant student, Hao never lost his precocious sense of mischief and humor. He was a good natured prankster even in bad times and had us all laughing to the very end. Hao met the love of his life, Be, in 1947 and following a 2 year courtship they joined in holy matrimony. A powerful and dedicated marriage spanning 66 years followed along with 10 beautiful children. The 5 boys and 5 girls have been the pride and joy of Hao and Be in all their days. Ever the protective father, Hao immigrated to the United States in 1975 under the turbulent umbrella of the Vietnam conflict with his family in tow. Through the most difficult time of his life; Hao’s deep faith, heroic work ethic and integrity held the family together. All have since prospered and the Tran family personifies the great American story. Hao worked for Tri-State Motor Transit for 17 years and spent every spare minute enjoying his ever growing family. Hao was happiest dancing and imbibing good wine during holidays, weddings, and birthdays. Through the struggles of his last days, Hao remained focused on the wellbeing of his wife, prosperity of his children and the education of his grandchildren. With Hao’s passing, we weep for those whom had the privilege of knowing him as well as those who have not. Please join us in honoring an amazing life, well lived by a pure soul. Hao made the world a better place and he is now in the presence of our loving Lord.
