Harold Benton, 87,died on November 18, 2022. He was born in Hulbert, Oklahoma, on December 12, 1934. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He loved fishing, attending church, OU Sports, and sweets. He was a member at Church on the Move. He loved his family fiercely. He was also full of jokes. He had a dry sense of humor that always made him laugh. His laugh and smile were contagious.While his health allowed him, he loved to travel with his wife, Jean.
He is survived by his son David (wife Vilma), daughter Cathrine (husband Jonathan), grandchildren Dana, Stacie, Justin, Chelsea, Kaysen, Tommy, Logan, Willa, Aurielle, and Aurianna, and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mattie Benton, brothers Cliff and Frank Benton, sister Carrie (Benton) Harris, his daughter Debi (Benton) Clark, and his beloved wife of 30 years Jean.
