Harold Grant Briggs' Obituary
Harold Grant Briggs, 84, of Tulsa, OK died at home on July 4, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born May 7th, 1928 in Topeka, KS. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Lucille Briggs and his sister Betty McDermeit. On January 20th, 1948 he married Margaret Lee Gifford; his wife of 64 years who survives. He is survived by his brother Donald Briggs; sister Patricia Briggs Mabon; 4 sons ' Richard, Robert, Roger & Daniel; 2 daughters ' Susan Briggs Barnes, Barbara Briggs, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson as well as many nieces & nephews. He served in the U.S. Army/Air Force during the end of World War II and the Korean War. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday July 7, 2012 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
