Harold (Tom) HarrisonBirth Date: October 26, 1954 Death Date: March 31, 2019Tom, a long time electrical contractor of Broken Arrow OK passed away Sunday, March 31 unexpectedly in his home.Tom is survived by wife Patty, son Brian and Rachel Harrison of Rogers AR, daughter Michele and Zach Erwin of Broken Arrow OK, his two grandsons, who were the light of his life, Dane Harrison and Easton Erwin. Also his mother “Meme” Gwen Harrison of Broken Arrow OK, two brothers Billy E. Harrison Junior of Springdale AR and Jamie Harrison of Bentonville AR and one sister Melanie Bischoff of Collinsville OK, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Tom was preceded in death by his father, Billy Harrison Senior and grandparents. Tom and Patty met at Rhema Bible College in 1976 and married in 1977. They were married 42 years on March 26. Tom loved family and work. He was born again in his teenage years. He loved God. This ministry and church held a special place in his heart. He worked for Kenneth Hagin Ministries 19 years, 4 months and 29 days. Over the years he was able to help so many people from early morning paper routes to hanging Christmas lights for Tom’s Electric. He also helped many people receive their journey man’s license, start their own business and assisted many others along the way.Having a successful business for 40 years, Tom worked for himself as an electrical contractor, his specialty was Christmas lights. He did many residential and business Christmas displays including Guthrie Green, several local banks and his own home.Tom loved four wheeling, boating, lake life and NASCAR. He dreamed of travel with his grandkids, working less, enjoying life and had aspirations of completing a truck restoration.He will be missed immensely – a life gone too soon.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a cash donation to Rhema Bible College to help the many students just as Tom did.
