Harold Jefferson Maddox, Jr., died Saturday the 27th of January at 5:13 and is being laid to rest on Friday Feb 2nd at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, ClaremoreHe was a Christian man who loved the Lord and brought his family up in the Christian faith.He was our Family Historian for all of his adult life. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years then worked for Southwestern Bell for 31 years until his retirement. He was a wonderful father and friend to those who knew him. As Life on earth had broken his body he spoke often of seeing his family again that had preceded him. He is free from those confines now and in the arms of Jesus and his family and friends. We will see our grandfather, father, brother, uncle, and friend again one day so Rest in Peace daddy we love you and will miss you until we see you again.Harold Jefferson Maddox, Jr. is survived by his 3 brothers, Charles Martin Maddox, Clifford Allen Maddox, Jack Lawrence Maddox, and his 4 children, Sandra Kay Maddox Berg, Michael Lane Maddox, Scott Jeffrey Maddox, and Karyn, Norine Maddox Covey, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 1st, Floral Haven Funeral Home.Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, February 2nd, Woodlawn Cemetery, Claremore.
