Harold Bernard Myers' Obituary
Harold Bernard Myers, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great- great grandfather passed from this world at the age of 97 into the loving arms of Jesus on May 17,
2023. Harold was born to Charlie and Neta Myers on January
20, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Harold is survived by daughter Loretta and her husband Allen Deiter, son Sam and his wife Page Myers. Grandchildren include Hayley Deiter, Heidi and her husband Zach Mayer, Melissa Allen, Jessica and her husband Robert Swalley, great-grandchildren Hana Mayer, Chyna Mayer, Kayla and her husband Justin Shepherd, Laney Mayer, Harrison Mayer, Gavin Swalley, Madix Swalley, and Alydia Swalley. Great Great-Grandchildren include Paxton, Holden, Hendrix Sowers, and Torrin Shepherd.
Harold is preceded in death by wife Jeannetta Myers, grandson Sam Myers, Jr., great-granddaughter Brooklyn Myers, brother Charles and his wife Lola Myers, sisters Mary and her husband Thern Tackett, Irene and her husband Lee Brantley. He is also preceded by numerous close in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Harold worked at the age of 14 in the wheat fields of Kansas, then to the diary farm in Oklahoma until drafted into the Army.
Harold served in WWII in Japan. He worked for 42 years for the city of Tulsa. His character and love were admired by all that met him.
