Harold E. Nixon's Obituary
Harold E. Nixon, 79 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, December 1, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born September 6, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents, Russell Lee Nixon and Willa Mae Donovan Nixon. In 1990 he took the hand of Teresa "Terry" R. Connely. Over the next 33 years they blended families and started building wonderful memories together.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Terry Connely of the home; two children, David Nixon and wife Karen of Poteau, Oklahoma and Tonya Turiano and husband Wes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Preston Turiano, Collin Turiano Charles Turiano, Macy Nixon, Bennett Nixon, and Cora Nixon; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Willa Mae Nixon and three siblings, Colleen Bethel, Russell Nixon and Norman Nixon.
In addition to being a loving husband, father, and papa, Harold leaves behind a spiritual legacy that will continue to inspire. May his commitment to faith and family be remembered as we celebrate his life.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023, at South Tulsa Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Gostanzo officiating.
