Harold Edgar Palm's Obituary
Harold Edgar Palm – 81 was born May 18, 1937 in Welch, Oklahoma, and died May 24, 2018, at home in Catoosa, Oklahoma. His parents Charles Herman Palm and Nora Margaret Vandermark-Palm preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathleen Palm. Harold is also survived by his three sons, including his oldest son Charles Palm and his wife Betty of Memphis, Tennessee, his middle son Daniel Palm and his wife Desiree of Claremore, OK, and his youngest son Randall Palm and April Ozbirn of Claremore, Oklahoma. Additionally, Harold is survived by his granddaughters Kylie and Tifiani Palm, great-granddaughter Olivia Garcia, as well as Jose Garcia of Claremore, Oklahoma.He is also survived by sister Linda Palm Reece and her husband Larry Reece and their sons Larry II and his wife Jimi Reece and daughter Lauren Reece, Lance and Rebekah Reece and their children Ellie and Lucas Reece all of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Harold is also survived by many cousins.Harold was a U.S. Army Combat Medic Veteran stationed in Germany during the Cold War. After his honorable discharge from the service he went to work for the U.S. Postal Service and eventually retired in 2009 after almost 42 years of dedicated service. Harold has always been a strong man of family; he spent any time he could with his family and friends. He had an addiction that some knew about, some did not, and that happened to be with dark chocolate and Captain D’s fish. He did not really care about the sides, just the fish. He was a supporter of OU Sooners Football and spent time watching and listening to games on the weekends. He was an avid reader of EVERYTHING, but especially science and medical journals and magazines. He had a few favorite vacation spots…Branson, Missouri, and the entire country of Italy.Going off on his own, not only in Wal-Mart but in other countries as well… He will be greatly missed for all of these things, but mainly as a husband and a father.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Floral HavenFuneral Service will be 12:30 pm, Wednesday, May 30 at Floral Haven Chapel
