Harriet Jones' Obituary
Harriet B. Jones passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018, in Bixby, Oklahoma. She was born March 24, 1925 to Harry and Irene Bartoo in Kansas City, Missouri.She grew up in Newark, New Jersey, where she attended school and sang in her church choir and on local radio stations.She moved with her family to Tulsa before her senior year, and graduated from Will Rodgers High School. She was a long time resident of Jenks, and lived the past year and a half at the Sand Plum Assisted Living Center in Bixby.She is survived by her two children, Diane Reynolds of Austin, Texas and Michael Jones of Tulsa, and three grandchildren.Donations can be made in her memory to Macular Degeneration Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871No Services are planned.
