Harry Payne Hampton's Obituary
Harry Payne Hampton, 75, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away July 9, 2020. Harry was born May 31, 1945 in Boonville, Missouri to Phillip and Lula Mae Hampton.
Harry moved to Tulsa as a teenager. He graduated from East Central High School. Immediately after high school, he joined the Army reserve. After his discharge from the Army reserve he accepted a position with Oklahoma Natural Gas. He spent 35 years working with ONG. In 2003 he retired as a supervisor.
Harry Payne Hampton was welcomed in to Heaven by his father, Phillip Hampton; mother, Lula Mae McBride; son, Bruce Moore and his brother's, Bill Hampton and Jim Hampton.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Joy (Josie) Hampton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son's, Brent Moore and his wife, Becky of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Tony Moore and his wife, Cuatlicue of Mannford, Oklahoma, Bill Hampton and his wife, Donna of Monroe, Louisiana and James Hampton of Farmerville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Heather, Hollie, Haven, Amber, Ashley, Mindy, Aaron, Ella and Eli; 8 great-grandchildren; his favorite son and best friend, Buddy Love Hampton (his little dog) and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 12:30 pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
