Harry Walter McCoy's Obituary
Harry Walter McCoy, 65; a proud Veteran of the United States Army; a dedicated husband and a loving father; passed away in his home at Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on November 18, 2022. Harry was born on August 12, 1957 in Moundsville, West Virginia to Charles Hayes and Willa Mitchell.
At the age of 20, Harry enlisted in the United States Army. He served as an Ammunition Specialist and earned accomplishments such as medals, ribbons and badges. He valued his service and climbed the ranks of the enlisted army until he retired as a Master Sergeant of 21 years and 2 months in service.
He met the love of his life, Marcela Adapang from the Philippines and got married on March 31, 1996. They were blessed with two sons, Charles in 1998 and James in 2000. Harry also enjoyed working at United Stationer until he got ill.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and is survived by his wife, Marcy; his sons, Charles and James; his sister, Barbara and Bob Paith of Moundsville, West Virginia; brother in - laws, sister in-laws, nieces and nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service.
