Harry "Boge" Andrew Messimore, Sr.'s Obituary
Harry "Boge" Andrew Messimore, Sr entered this world in Afton, Oklahoma, on October 5th, 1931. He passed this life on December 17, 2024 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Boge filled many lives with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. An Army veteran with a knack for turning scrap parts into beautiful Model T cars, he amazed many with his creativity and skill.
While attending Sequoyah High School, Boge met Erma, the love of his life and the mother of his children. They shared 41 wonderful years together before her passing. His heart found love again with Margaret, and they cherished their time together until she, too, passed away.
Boge's sense of humor was legendary—he had an uncanny ability to make everyone around him laugh. His loyalty and intelligence were matched only by the warmth he brought into every room. Truly, he was loved by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Anthony Messimore and Samantha Belle (Bartley) Messimore; wife Erma Messimore; second wife Margaret Messimore; 8 siblings; grandson Robie Pace; and granddaughter Samantha Howell.
Left to cherish Boges memory are his children Lynda Sims, Harry Messimore, Jr. and wife Patti, Robert Messimore and wife Glenda, Karen Howell and husband Bobby, and Sharon Hornstein and husband Gary; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish the joy and love he shared. His legacy lives on in the laughter and stories that his loved ones continue to share.
