Harvey F. Wilson's Obituary
Harvey Forrest Wilson died in his home on October 6, 2014 in Inola, OK. He was 59. Mr. Wilson was born on October 9, 1954 in Pittsburgh, KS to his parents Raymond and Joy Wilson. Upon graduating high school in Liberal, MO, Harvey entered the United States Army in 1974. He was stationed in Fort Hood, TX and Germany during his time with the Army. After being honorably discharged in 1978, Harvey married Debra Cowan. He has two children, Rocky Wilson and Holli Kerr. Mr. Wilson was known for his great construction skills, especially concrete. He enjoyed working with his hands and in the elements. After 25 years of in the consturction industry, Harvey enjoyed his life of a retired, disabled veteran. He delighted in raising his horses and working on his home. Mr. Wilson is survived by his son, Rocky Wilson; his daughter and son-in-law, Holli and Chad Kerr; his grandaughter, Payton Romine; his father, Raymond Wilson; his brothers Raymond S. Wilson and Randy Wilson; and his sisters, Sandy Crews, Becky Wilson, and Beth Jorishie. Mr. Wilson will be buried in a private ceremony on October 11, 2014. A memorial will take place on October 11, 2014 at 12:30 pm at Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave. A viewing will also be held at Floral Haven on October 10, 2014, beginning at 10:00 am. The family will be available from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Wilson’s life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
