Hatsuko Cox, 81 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 with family by her side. She was born January 25, 1938 in Namie, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan to her parents, Zensuke Yoshida and Teruko Kumeda Yoshida. Hatsuko married the love of her life, James “Jim” Cox, on January 10, 1967 in Tokyo, Japan and they have shared over 52 beautiful years together.Hatsuko is survived by her husband, Jim Cox of the home; two sons, Gene Cox and wife Phu of Arvada, Colorado and Richard Cox and wife Joni of Grove, Oklahoma; one sister, Takako Kawamae of Yokohama, Japan; one brother, Zenjiro Yoshida of Fukushima, Japan; and three grandchildren, Alaxander Cox, Elizabeth Cox and Blake Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zensuke and Teruko Yoshida.Services will be private.
