Hayden R. Crismon's Obituary
Hayden Raymond Crismon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother; delivered into this world on Sunday, May 2, 1926 in Iberia, Missouri to his loving parents, Henry & Ora Crismon; went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 27, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Hayden or as some new him as “Cris” served his country honorably and proudly in the United States Navy. After returning home from his service to Uncle Sam, Hayden found the love of his life and they became husband & wife on February 3, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Residing in Tulsa for many years; they raised a family together, later relocating to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where they made it their home for the next forty-three years. Hayden was a hard worker working in the petroleum industry as a draftsman until his retirement. In Hayden free time he loved watching his Cardinals as he was a huge fan, especially of his favorite player Stan Musial. He also loved working on his collection on Ford Model A cars even restoring a 1930’s Model A Sport Coup. He enjoyed taking drives in his other Model A two door and his 1939 Ford coupe, but what he truly loved and was passionate about was the memories he created with his family for generations to come. As he passed those cars he worked so hard to restore and poured himself into; he passed them onto his grandsons for them to create their own memories with their own families. What Hayden truly loved most of all was his family and friends; he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Hayden is preceded in death by his loving parents, Henry & Ora Crismon and his eleven siblings. Hayden is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Odessa Ann Crismon; his loving children, D’Anna Edgar & husband Don and Donna Webster & husband Stephen; his dearly loved grandchildren, Eric Edgar & wife Catrina, Brett Edgar & wife Stephanie and Hayley Webster; his four great grandchildren that he deeply loved, Wyatt Edgar, Avery Edgar, Haiden “Ian” Edgar and Blythe Edgar; his loving sister, Nancy Tucker and numerous other loving family members and friends.
